I had the pleasure of meeting Ose in April at a luncheon (Ladies Who Lunch). Her warm smile and sense of style were contagious. We got to chatting and found out she is Liberian too! We clicked! She kept in contact with me and as a proud country sister, I went to the launch of her line Oseuhseh last night at Paper Doll Boutique in Brooklyn.

Oseuhseh is a carefully curated line of vintage clothing with the curvy woman in mind! Genius! How many times have us girls with curves, loved a vintage piece but, it was a too small. I know I have. Ose has scoured the country and  will continue to do so, to find vintage finds with curvy women in mind.

Ose had a small runway presentation of what she has to offer. Beautiful! Her heartfelt thank you to her sister and support system was very moving. Her line will be at Paper Doll Boutique, 921 Fulton St., Brooklyn, NY, for a limited time so, get down to this fantastic shop and pick up a piece. In addition, the website www.oseuhseh.com is live for your online shopping pleasure.

When we think of Fashion Week we tend to think about the “big” fashion names and forget that there are up and coming designers every year that need our support as well. Support Ose, she is destined to fill the void in this market. It was refreshing to see her hard work pay off.

I will keep my eye on her and let you know all the new and exciting paths this line will take. I’ve also been put on notice by Ose that I am to host a Liberian meal for her and her sister, they’re homesick for that good food. We have a dinner date Ose!

I wish you much success O!
