Just when Lincoln Center calms down and you, the general public, thinks we are done till February, it continues for the Bridal market. Bridal Market is exactly like the other fashion markets. Editors, Press, Industry and Stylists go to different shows and presentations to see what’s new for Bridal gowns and Bridal Party Fashion. The accessories are a big part of the presentations as well. No Bride is complete without the right shoes and jewels! I had the pleasure of executing the looks for 2 bridal companies, White by Vera Wang and David’s Bridal for their Spring 2012 Press previews.

White by Vera Wang is a line that is designed exclusively for David’s Bridal. I fell in love with a gown last season and cheated on “her” and fell in love with more this season! I was not disappointed! The layers of tulle, artistic floral appliques and the flange skirts were dreamy! There is just something about a Vera Wang dress! I love the horsehair ribbons. It’s such an avant-garde take on the usual satin ribbon. It adds just the right amount of chicness to the gown.

There were also replicas of the  dresses Vera made for  Kim Kardashian and the much talked about, now defunct, fairytale wedding .

If you ever want a Vera Wang gown and can’t afford the signature collection, you will be completely satisfied with a gown from White by Vera Wang.

I also styled the Bridal collections for David’s Bridal. David’s Bridal is the “go to” place for savvy Brides to find the gown of their dreams without bursting their budget.  Bridesmaids appreciate David’s Bridal selection and prices too! Now I know some of you might turn your nose up at the thought of going to David’s Bridal but, I am hear to tell you, you are sooooo wrong!  The collections are so fashion forward!  DB Studio, Galina, Galina Signature and Oleg Cassini were represented at the preview.

There was also vignettes that showed what your entire bridal party could look like.

Let’s not forget the accessories!

I had 58 bust forms to dress, 2 assistants, 5 racks of dresses but, when it was all said and done , it was worth it. Wouldn’t you agree?

I love working with Brides. There’s nothing like finding “the dress” for her. When you “get her” and she can see her childhood dream come to life, it’s an awesome experience. Having an inside track to what is fresh and new to the Bridal market helps too! 😉

So, if you’re getting married and need your own bridal stylist, call me, there’s a package for you! I’d be honored to work with you on your special day. Stay tuned, I’ll be bringing you more from the Bridal world! Till then, keep dreaming! Some day your Prince will come…..and I’ll be right there to find your dress!

I had the pleasure of executing the looks on mannequins for White by Vera Wang for David’s Bridal for a press preview of her Fall 2011 line. Just like the first collection, this collection is beautiful! the bridal gowns are gorgeous! If you ever dreamed of wearing a Vera Wang gown and her designer collection is out of reach, keep reaching princess, there’s one here for you!

The prices range from $600-$1400! My favorite was a classic ball gown with a multi layered tulle skirt. Breathless!

There is also a classic tulle pick up skirt ball gown.

The bridesmaid dresses all got my stamp of approval! There is no way any one in the bridal party would refuse any of these bridesmaid dresses! The girls will be proud to wear their dresses.

Coincidentally, the week I was working on this project, Kim Kardashian had lunch with Vera Wang! Could it be true that Vera will make Kim K’s wedding dress? I guess we’ll all be watching!!!!

It was a pleasure to work with the PR team and interns at Vera Wang. Team Vera Wang rocks!

So all of you Brides who are still looking for a dress for your special day, look no further! Book your appointment now with David’s Bridal and try on a White by Vera Wang gown….it will be love at first sight!
