Today in the borough of Brooklyn, in the neighborhood of Bed-Stuy, it is a welcome 57 degrees! Ahh, just what I need to inspire my thoughts for what I will be purchasing for my Spring and Summer wardrobe. I can’t wait to shed a layer or two. LOL!
I am a HUGE fan of one-piece dressing. It makes you look and feel put together. It’s one of the principles I live by for myself and my clients. When you think of one-piece dressing your mind automatically goes to dresses. Well, for Spring/Summer the jumpsuit is back! Easy, breezy, comfortable and sophisticated. FYI: I was on trend and ahead of the game when I attended Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Spring 2012 last September, I wore a strapless jumpsuit. 😉
Some of my favorite designers showed jumpsuits for Spring and now they’re coming to a store or website near you for you to add to your wardrobe.
My go to designer for dresses, Dian Von Furstenberg, has a few jumpsuits in her Spring collection. Great for a vacation, a quick getaway or just being fabulous in the city.
I also love the lifestyle and mood evoked from the Rachel Rachel Roy collection. Her jumpsuits are great for casual dressing and styled up for a night on the town.
The queen of all things bohemian, Rachel Zoe, just had to have that classic 70’s style we all loved for her jumpsuits. So chic, so comfy!
